4/9/2010Arriving on Concourse B by the train at Denver International Airport, you can see this statue of Coloradan Jack Swigert. He was the command module pilot for the ill-fated Apollo 13 flight. Swigert was elected to Congress from Colorado in 1982 but died of cancer before he was able to take office.
The photo challenge is taking a picture in a large space without loosing detail on the face. I had to do a little image adjustment by brightening it using photo shop.
