Day 124 - Albanian Vase

On my living room mantle - a vase that was a gift from Becca's friend Turi when we visited her in Peshkopi (Albania). It is a nice example of folk art. On the right is a dreidle from Jerusalem and on the left are two candles from Israel also.

Day 63 - Peace Corps Souviners

When I travel I like to pick up small dolls dressed in ethnic costumes. Last June we went to Albania to visit our Peace Corps Volunteer daughter Becca and I found this set for my collection. Funny, I never knew Barbie was Albanian! They are laying on the rug she bought as one of her PCV souvenirs.
