There were volunteer face painters at the FACC Festival.

Melborne Fischer chose to celebrate Filipino Independence Day with this face after he finished performing.

Erlinda is the accompanist for the Filipino American Community of Colorado's Mano Po Choir. She will be playing while we sing this Saturday at the FACC Festival.

Day 135 - FACC Scholarship Winners

Joey and McKenna were the 2010 FACC scholarship winners.

Joey will be going to Stanford on a football scholarship and

McKenna will be studying nursing at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Day 87 - MahJong

I belong to the Filipino American Community of Colorado because I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines. Some of the members play MahJong, a Rummy-like game that uses tiles. This game is very popular in the Philippines and any week you can find one or two tables going at the FACC clubhouse.
