He was a "comfort dog" a class of service animal for people with extreme anxiety.

Day 166 - Guide Dog
6/15/10Pierce was a very calm Guide Dog on one of our planes.
The problem with using the little camera is that sometimes there is a bit of a focus problem that isn't evident when you look at the picture on the little screen. I took another photo that was in focus but he was not looking at me.

Day 122 - More Service Dogs
5/2/2010 These beautiful bomb sniffing dogs were on their way to St. Louis this morning. Tarzan and Kely work for the Denver Federal Reserve Bank Protection Department. I love it that I am getting a small collection of dog trading cards!

Day 75 - Service Dogs
3/16/2010 This beautiful Golden Retriever arrived at my gate today. She is a Service Dog who assists her friend with many tasks. She also enjoyed all the "people watching" in the airport.
The challenge in shooting photos of an animal is trying to get them to look where you want and getting the right pose. Gotta admire someone who takes portraits of dogs and cats.
